The Marden Fruit Show Annual General Meeting will take place at East Malling Conference Centre on Thursday 21st March 2013.

The Marden Fruit Show Society, organisers of the National Fruit Show start the day with their Annual General Meeting chaired by Rt Hon Michael Jacks, Society President, who will remain in office for the forthcoming year. The President’s Report will include highlights from the successful 2012 Show and plans for the Society’s 80th Anniversary will be unveiled.

Sarah Calcutt, Chairman said “We are very excited to be celebrating 80 years it is a huge milestone and thanks must go to all the growers and industry experts through the past decades. The fruit show goes from strength to strength and it is a testament to the determination of the sector that the National Fruit Show is still as relevant to the wider community today as it always used to be.”

Sarah Calcutt, Chairman will present her Report to the members and thank the industry for their support of both the Society and National Fruit Show over the past year during a particularly challenging growing season.

The dates and plans for the 2013 Anniversary Show will be announced along with the coveted Bonanza Prize and associated sponsor.
