There are some exciting product, machinery and technology launches taking place at next week’s show. News from the team at First Base Solutions Ltd:
“The KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster is a micro-transmitter which emits radio waves (signals) at specific frequencies into the water at a molecular level. The signals mimic the natural frequency vibrations of healthy plants and beneficial microbes in the soil, boosting their natural function. It is installed directly onto existing irrigation systems, and requires no additional power or maintenance.
This:
• Increases crop yield and quality
• Increases resistance to pest and disease
• Reduces fertiliser and chemical usage
The KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster has been tested in several countries, with many crop types. Outcomes relevant to fruit growers include; increases in yield and quality, improved pest and disease resistance, and reductions in fertiliser and chemical usage.
56% Yield Increase of Exportable Blueberries in Chile
Increased yield compared to the control field; the overall yield increase was 26%. Which increased the exportable crop amount by 56%.
100% Reduction in Agrichemical Use, Improved Fruit Quality, & Increased Disease Resistance on Tomatoes in Colombia. Harvest time was advanced by 2 weeks; all crops were of high quality. There was no presence of pests or disease, so there was no application of fungicide and pesticide.
100% Increased Yield of Strawberries in Ecuador
Increase from 38 metric tons, per hectare, every 15 days; to 40 metric tons, per hectare, every 8 days. This equates to over a 100% crop yield increase. Fruit quality, shape, and colour, improved, and presented less deformities.
67% Reduction in Fertilizer Use, Increased Brix Rating, & Larger Fruit Size of Plums in the USA
Higher level of sweetness increased the Brix rating. The plums were visibly larger and healthier in only three days of growth. Reduced nitrates, fertilisers, and herbicide application from 3 or more, down to only one application.
It does this by:
• Increasing photosynthesis efficiency.
• Enhancing nutrient absorption and utilisation.
• Enhancing soil health and nutrient availability.
• Increasing root density.
This means that farmers and growers achieve high yields for longer periods of time with less inputs, ultimately leading to more sustainable production and profitability.” www.firstbasesolutions.co.uk
