Sarah Calcutt Executive Chair of the National Fruit Show comments: “We are delighted to have received 44 entries from growers across Kent which were judged on 25th January. There was an incredibly high standard of entries this year with some scoring a perfect 100% score and others divided by a fraction of a point. The competition helps raise awareness of the high standards across the top fruit industry, which are being used to help extend the season for British apples and pears and to ensure they are available to customers for longer.”
