To support the National Fruit Show Educational Programme, major show sponsor and the UK’s longest-standing fruit and vine machinery specialists, NP Seymour, will be raffling off a Fendt 211 pedal tractor, worth £190.
Claire Seymour, director of the family-run dealership and member of the National Fruit Show board of trustees said: “We are very much looking forward to catching up with growers and industry friends at this year’s National Fruit Show. The education programme, which is industry funded, plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the next generation understands more about the importance of fruit within a healthy balanced diet, encouraging them to enjoy more British fruit as well as educating primary and secondary school pupils about STEM subjects and careers within our industry. We are hoping to raise as much as we can to help them increase the number of children they can visit.”
Tickets for the Fendt pedal tractor, which are £5 each, will be available from stand K29. The winner will be drawn before the end of the show on Thursday 3 November.
