The fruit display is looking amazing this year with 127 entries of fruit in classes 1 – 21 from 35 exhibitors. The great news is that there were 15 entries in class 12 AOV including:
Junami 96.25 – 4th place
Cheerful Gold 96.75 – 3rd Place
Braeburn Marivi 97.25 – 2nd
Jonagored 97.25 1st
And 12 entries in the Novice Class 20. The Best Dessert Apple is Gala grown by Miller & Bradley with 98.25 points. Best Pear was Conference grown by Agrii with a score of 97.5 and Best Culinary and Best in Show Bramley was grown by Bardsley and Son and scored a magnificent 99 points. (image from 2015).
14 exhibitors have qualified for the wonderful Bonanza Prize – sponsored by Wealden AM
The 2016 Bonanza Prize will be Wine Tasting for four people at the wonderful English Wine Centre in East Sussex, set in the South Downs National Park. The prize will include; overnight accommodation, evening meal and a selection of wines to take home.
