Wealden AM is pleased to be the sponsor for this year’s Bonanza prize, in appreciation of all the good work carried out by fruit growers and their teams. Wealden AM provide the Rural Sector with bespoke steel structure, design and build solutions for a wide range of buildings including; grain stores, fruit stores, office buildings and even sports halls. “There are so many unsung heroes in this industry and, as a company involved in infrastructure projects, it is great to award the Bonanza prize to the people growing, storing and marketing the crops” says Rob Kendall, Managing Director.
The 2016 Bonanza Prize will be Wine Tasting for four people at the wonderful English Wine Centre in East Sussex, set in the South Downs National Park. The prize will include; overnight accommodation, evening meal and a selection of wines to take home.
What is the Bonanza Prize? Competition entry is automatic and one entry in the Bonanza Prize Draw is given for each three staged entries gaining a minimum of 85 points from classes 1 – 19. Therefore a grower entering 6 entries all gaining more than 85 points will have two names put in the prize draw. Over the past years several growers with only one name in the draw has walked away with the prize – remember it is all the luck of the draw!
